So quick to throw the towel in, in the mist of adversity

We spend more time blaming God then we do analyzing where we went wrong and stepped out of His will

Ungrateful children, never do we want to pay for the debt we acquired

But we enjoyed every moment spent creating it

Maybe God should change His character and never teach us anything

Then we would have nothing to complain about because there would be no cause an affect, no action and reaction, no consequences for the decisions we made that caused us to ask “Where is God?” How do we learn anything without failure? Do we believe that failure is not final with God? He is either always or never, true or dishonest. So why complain and doubt about what is temporary? Why worry about tomorrow when the life lived by faith is unpredictable.

We want wealth, and prosperity but we don’t want to learn the principles necessary to maintain it. Who cares about being a good steward? We want God to protect us from the devour but we don’t even give to God, let alone to anyone else.

So busy we are chasing the American dream. We’ll settle for anything that looks like it, rather it be in the form of plastic, fools gold, or expensive possessions that reflect this false reality.

Who do we believe we’re fooling? If only we waited on the Lord we wouldn’t be in this living beyond our means situation. But God was there in the beginning, and wisdom advised us otherwise but we seem to have a creative way in justifying the lies we choose to live. We twisted the word for our situation and for some reason we believe grace should take away the pain, fix our situations as soon as we believe we’ve had enough. His grace is sufficient enough rather we believe it or not. Prayer is not our only weapon. God wants a face to face encounter, when we’re looking and searching for a quick hand out… So what’s it going to be, will we denounce God and die, or pick up our bed and walk.
