As the night grow darker

Poem Artwork

My heart a million pieces,
bound by ribbons and ties.
Sealed with hugs and kisses;
is that which once was torn apart
by treachery, evil words and lies.

As the night grows darker and
I lay my weary head to rest.
A promise from my dreams
comes close to lure me in.
It whispers to me softly of
sweet delicious sin.

How I long to set my sail
to adventures far away.
Where warm winds whisper
come out and play.

Where dreams come into life
and life comes out of dreams.

That is where I need to go
I set my wish to make it so..

Such an alluring poem. And inviting. Where wise men never go.
They say.
