Think about how many mothers there are out there who don't know how or just don't care, to put their kids 1st. I WILL break the cycle for my kids!

, When is it that your job begins? Is it the moment that you have discovered me? Is it when you first felt my butterfly flutters? Mother, Do you love me at the very first? Or does it come when you have first seen my face? Is my life what matters most to you? Mother, God made me specially for you. Do you really think of me when it comes to the moment at which you are to make life choices. Am I supposed to feel safe and secure? Mother, when does your job begin? Is it the first moment that you hold me in your arms? When I first suckle at your breast? When I first start school and need you to walk me to class? Mother, what does the word mean to you? As the babe that holds to you for support I question your love. Is is constant and always mine? Mother, do you know that to raise me you have to give me love and security, hope and constancy? Mother, I hope at the end you were my Mommy.
Rhonda, this is exceptionally good. It should be in a phamplet given to every pregnant woman: it would give them pause for thought long before they hold that child in their arms. Now write one for fathers! There is no more important role in the world than that of being a parent: mother and father. Children come with a blank slate and we parents write their lives on it: great care should be taken as we write by lessons taught and the examples we place on view for our children to mimic. ~~Bonnie Q
