Oh, how beautiful is the turning of the leaves
From one color to a rainbow of earthly shades.
Once a mighty tree so full of life, it now grieves
At the falling of its foliage while the green fades.

The cool, blowing breeze blows the colorful remains
Along the dying grass; the flowers do mourn.
Those who have not prepped to sleep, stake their domains.
While the dying awaits spring to be reborn.

The migrating ones leave, seeking warm places,
While others prepare for the cold that’s to come.
The first flake that falls, a small child embraces.
Marking the new season that has become.

I love your quote, just under your name. Too cool. The poem is kinda harsh, I know where you are coming from though. ;)

Where would we be without the cycles of life
I am in the autumn of life
And yes everything is falling but I don’t think spring coming again will help
