You don't just write, Roger, you create, you cascade, you paint... there is design in your phrasings.
'fool...feel' I felt the self-effacing melancholy, yet there is no plea for sympathy, instead, this reaches down to where these feelings lurk in all of us. You expose yourself on your own terms... and this reader "gets" that. I love this poem. katy xox

Wow, BEAUTY AND THE BEAST is too cool!
I like your format and the flow is as smooth as velvet on perfumed skin. The imagery is rich and vibrant while the writing is crisp, clean, crackling.
