Why does a plughole gurgle?

Has your sink ever gurgled made a sound like a burp gone wrong? have you ever wondered what on earth is going on? Has that sound persisted till enternity without anyone ever finding out what the cause may be. Well I think I know the answer I know exactly why down your plughole Plugolites might hide.
