This is a poem that I wrote as a prayer for the christians that were, and still are being persecuted and sold into slavery, in the Sudan. Pray that God will deliver them all, as he has already delivered many of them.
To the spirit of the white dove;
oh yea persecuted one!
We have not forgotten you, oh mighty one; who perseveres for christ sake!
Hold strong with the faith, don't hesitate; for he shall deliver thee, till the end! Amen

The atrocities are much worse than what we hear. Lovely, heartfelt prayer you've delivered her. I don't know anyone who wouldn't be in sympathy, whether Christian or Jew or Buddist.
