Captain Every thunderstorm is the rain Skies of fear and insane A ripple of water will do the same. Captain, let go of the wake It will be okay That is what water makes. Remember to ride the wave Fear not the bow Captain, starboard is right. It will be okay Captain let go of the wake It’s for tomorrow’s sake. Deborah Ann Tornillo Copyright, 2013

Beautiful. Sometimes the Captain feels (s)he can control the voyage, but Mother Nature has the power to change our course.

If we are to captain our own ship, we have to let go once in a while so that we can get on the right course to a distant shore.

Control is subjective. Once we know we have it we are under the impression that we posess it forever, then we find that the next second, hour, lifetime, everything will be taken away. Ripped away by nature, circumstance or the hidden purposes of a loving God. Riding the wave, navigating the channel, mastering the water, call it whatever, the science of life is in the living. Most of the time the illusion of control is just that; illusion. The art is in the navigation. Well put in the lines Deborah. You've made the crossing. Bob
