Closure Forty seven years ago She was only fifteen Defining her life Remaining carefree. Nineteen sixty eight She was only a child. A budding flower That could never die. Reality knocked On her golden door Hurting her heart Then, wanting more. A love of her life On a distant shore Succumbed to battle Her brother, who she adored. Forty seven years later Promises still come Sitting by her door She pray’s to be done. Deborah Ann Tornillo 36 Days Apart

It seems like this is an MIA story. But I may be wrong. It is still very poignant.

grief is such an individual journey...I have just been pondering on such things myself...
To retain the love and memories of loved ones whilst still reaching for all the happiness life has to offer us each precious day....
Not an easy path...but we try....
