I am a singer. I make music.

*Why do I sing? I sing because I
do not have the choice to not sing
anymore than I have a choice not
to walk or talk. My singing let me
know that I exist and engenders
meaning and happiness in my life.

*Where do I sing? I sing (and play
the harmonica) nearly everywhere
I am: in my home, in the shower,
in bed, on the streets, in parking
lots, in airports, in churches and
public arenas.

*When do I sing? I sing in the
morning, beginning as my feet
touch the floor after a night in
bed, during daylight and at night.
I sing in bed, when driving my car,
during my three-plus mile walk
which I do five or six days a week.
I sing when the spirit moves me to sing.

*How do I sing? I sing mostly a cappella,
but at times intermittently while playing
the harmonica or ukulele. Sometimes I
sing softly but most times with gusto
and passion. I sing in the key of love.
I sing giving all to love.

So the why-where-when-how of my
singing ultimately is to glorify God and
be happy. How can I not sing? I cannot!
