The poem The Lost Soul is from my book The Awakening. The poem is based on life's difficulties and the realism that Jesus is there for us always and through Faith,Hope and Love.

THE LOST SOUL You give me Strength, when all seems lost. You give me Faith, when dreams come crashing down. You give me Hope, when I fall from time to time. You show me Love, when hatred finds its way. You show me Joy, when tears well in my eyes. You show me Light, when darkness blinds the way. You show and give me everything, when I cannot find my way, your love is forgiving, as I carry my cross day to day. You are my awakening, when I lay in a well so deep, you lift me up, when life seems a little bleak. Copyright 2009 All Rights Reserved - Daniel Gereige
