Knowing

by Erin Elizabeth Kelly-Moen — Read all 1,670 poems by Erin Elizabeth Kelly-Moen

Monday, February 11, 2013

It seems I know
What’s coming on. I’m too
Old to be invited, anymore, I know
What’s coming on, continuing on!

I know I know
There’s nowhere left to be an
Old me, happenstance happens.
I know.

I know I’ll always know, I know,
What came before would come
Again. I’m an old me, of doubtful heritage;
I know!

It seems I go
Where I can, coming into being,
Old enough to know better.
What’s coming next continues on.

The older I get,
the more I realize
I don't or will
never know..

Just go with it *Erin*
