Unfolding
You carry it, unspoken and whole,
The architecture of your soul,
No map was drawn, no vow was sworn,
But you were built to be reborn.
Morning isn’t just a start,
It’s a seam that stitches mind to heart,
You’re not behind, you’re not adrift,
You’re standing in a subtle shift.
Notice how your breath returns,
When something soft inside you learns:
Not every wound becomes a scar,
Some remind you what you are.
The strongest move without a sound,
No banners raised, or battles crowned,
They trust the quiet when it calls,
They rise through gaps the soul recalls.
Stop naming pain as some mistake,
It’s not a wound, it is a wake,
It pulls you where the light has thinned,
And shows you what you’ve caged within.
Your mind may beg for proof or peace,
Your heart still knows what to release,
And when it trembles, listen close:
It speaks in signs that healing knows.
You’ve come for more than you recall,
You’ve walked through storms and felt it all,
Each scar you bear has left a clue,
It’s not just pain, it’s passage too.
