Uncried Grief
You mask the tremble, dull the sting,
But pain denied will learn to sing,
It doesn’t leave, it just transforms,
And reappears in stronger storms.
You treat the wound, but not the cause,
You medicate, you get a pause,
But healing asks for more than rest,
It wants the truth you once suppressed.
It wants the grief you never cried,
The rage you swallowed, choked, and tied,
It wants the child you left unheard,
The shame that bloomed without a word.
So go where wounds and memory meet,
Where bones still hum with old deceit,
For only there can healing start:
Not in the mind, but in the heart.

From my happy and carefree childhood with wonderful parents, it's hard for me to understand what it must've been like to have these pains that still haunt you today from long ago and won't let go.
Or are you just writing excellent poetry from that point of view that you never had to go through, like me.
