An interesting change in style. But I'm not sure about the chorus. I don't see anywhere where it could be emphasized. And I'm not getting any melody by reading it. But you know better than I because you play music to go with it.

Still wondering which Rio you are writing about: the Rio Grande or Rio de Janeiro? ;-)

I know that Rio simply means River in Spanish.
