IT MUST HAVE BEEN A FABULOUS PARTY lyrics
by JOEL SATTLER
It must have been a fabulous party
because I don’t remember a thing
an absolute fabulous party
cause I can’t find anything
there’s a cop passed out on the bathroom floor
and red lipstick written on every door
and I don't know what this pill is for
and the landline is starting to ring
the Gatsby place burned down to the ground
and sirens made their siren sound
what once was lost will never be found
and Kong is still the King
it must have been a fabulous party
my head is three sizes too big
and absolute fabulous party
and I'm in bed with a pig
I guess she must have looked good to me
but in the light of the morning I just can't see
I'm out the door and breaking free
this just can't be it just can't be
I'll hate myself in the morning
but what do I do the rest of the day
in the mirror is such a fright
I can't wait until tonight
this day seems like it will never end
until the party gets going again

Many can relate. I think you have hit. I am drawn to the Sirens' song like a drunken lawyer following at 10 paces as the reaction time diminishes and I crash upon the rocky bumper of the island ambulance creating a new crash scene heeding the Siren call.
