Aristotle would love this. Just last night on Nova, it was clearly shown that will the masters of the earth, the giant dinosaurs, were nearly all instantly killed by the power of a single asteroid strike 66 million years ago, the lowly turtle in the water and mammals snug in their underground burrows survived to repopulate the earth.
