  Peace within the fury

The present storm,

Brings change,

And whips the fields,

Across the range,

 

To and fro,

The lithe rushes bend,

In a sea of confusion,

Helpless to defend,

 

Now alone,

Amongst the dancing reeds,

We find safe haven,

Below the thistled seeds,

 

Lying still,

The thrushes break the gale,

Protect us, keep us,

Safe upon the dale.
