He tells her not to say a word
she screamed from deep within
if only her voice could be heard
no witness to his sin

She always tries to run away
but caught to her dismay
her mind blank and body limp
why does he think this way?

She supresses any thought of him
for almost thirty years
then in a flash the pain returns
exposing all her fears

Her world is shattered once again
this time she asks for help
finds her voice through her prose
and learns to love herself

She can now accept herself
destroying that guarded wall
can love and trust once more
without any fear at all
