I cannot articulate properly
all the words lost to intemperate valors
Somehow the past has caught up to me
retroactively, so that my face upon the dawn
feels only the haunted shades of evening
Ebbing backwards through wayward reminisce,
discovery beats an awkward thrum
within the four rooms of my antechamber-
just shy of the thunders tolling rhythms
No reprieve exists so far as I know it,
nor relief existing of any consequence,
instead, a breach in the night
represents only a star which scorns me-
taking the patient course of millenia
to slap my eyes like enquine fury
inciting my herd of thoughts to sleep
