She of earth and fire: no proof for her but work and power. I have heard and sought to tame the reckless poet dwelling here. But to my shame, I wish to be known in the altitudes, and not alone: she is brave. A few well-chosen words are enough: "I love you still, my strange bird." In silence lies our best chance to be heard. We share a common heritage -- the wind-driven fire, the driving rain: and how we live is our only truth.
