My sister Huriya lives in Nashville, Tennessee. She is in hospital today for a treatment that can destroy her voice though the doctor says that the success chances of the surgery are very high. I pray for my sister but I need more prayers for her. I want to hear her voice again. Her voice has been the only link that connected us over the last two decades. The civil war in Somalia has separated us in a most horrendous way: Family Dismemberment. The last time I saw her was 20 years ago. From that day we have only been communicating through phone and e-mail.

Thanks my friends. You have been a great support during this difficult period. My sister have been successfully operated and has not lost her voice. I spoke with her last night by phone. Thanks again dear poets of AD.

Please count me as another, sent here by the LORD's faithful servant, Connie Faust, when she learned of your plight, and asked for prayer. I will also send it out to our incredible Prayer Team, of which, Connie is a vital member, and they will all lift her up before the LORD and intercede on her behalf.
But my prayer goes beyond the healing of her voice.. my prayer seeks the restoration of brother and sister.. into one place again.
