Time Portals
Closing

quick-seek
regress
seeking
to recapture
deny
Times Passage
resenting
yes, resenting
Youth's Promise
squandered;
Youth missed
in our
rear
view mirrors.

Is Youth alone
in our regrets
our Lacking Missings

which youth
seems
so unaware of
having its own
bearings on its own future
as we
sit marooned
some of us
between the lacking
and the passing.

but in time
our whisperings
