While You Were Away The sun has hidden it’s shining face Since the moment you left this place The days are gloomy, the nights are long My loneliness has filled me with sad song I think about your dancing eyes But here you’re not, my heart does cry I close my eyes and see your smile Knowing we’re apart for just a while Without you here I’m nothing at all Upon my knees I would forever crawl I love you so much, I need you with me Your safe return home is what I plea Our home is empty without you here The sound of your voice, I love so dear My husband to be, I give you my heart Hurry and come home so our life together we can start.
