Here we stand upon a mountain top
On the edge gathered dreams
We’ve chased fireflies between these worlds
Over rocks and tiny streams

He’s brought the gifts of purity
By playing his guitar
She’s lived for only dignity
By never drifting far

The earth has gathered everyone
Who hears her play his song
To heal them from their fatal wounds
That’s hunted them so long

And in the dark she sings to him
To set his spirit free
To travel into the Morning Sun
Beyond the duality

No, money cannot buy a home
No, flowers cannot bloom
In time where man has ceased
To give their love some room

A castle may be built of stone
Or brick or even sand
And earth can give us everything
Each nation tribe and Land

But God himself will choose to see
Life’s perfect purity
And restore to all who do believe
Earths song of dignity
