I use to think I knew it all
To express this view I would not stall.
This idea is common these days to many
Humility herein resides with not any.
I thought to myself that I had arrived.
Through rigorous schooling I had survived.
Looking now in retrospect,
I learned very little, I suspect.
Amazing it is that the older you get
Incredibly more you seem to forget.
Forgetting is probably not reality though
Truth is that you really never did know.
