Dream on dream weaver
Carry me gently to my bed.
Sing to me sweetly...
And place soft kisses to my head.
Dreamer, keep on weaving
Be kind to this poor mind.
Stay til my heart stops beating,
Hush now, lets have a little rhyme.
I know where I’ll go,
When I shut my eyes.
I’m playing with stolen time.
Is it with a breath that I’m dying,
Or just a little sigh...
Here’s to you, my dreamer,
Soothe all the ones left crying.
Place me lovely in thy web.
I’m tired of the living,
I’d rather be singing with the dead.

I am a soprano and would love to sing this magical and lulling poem
Great job I just became a fan!
This is one of my favorite poems. I am Christine Tsen's best friend and she just wrote Winter Wren for me in the den and love her poems so much also.
best wishes.

Sweet song of time's lost in the world of sleep, a little worried as to the death signifigance but possibly referring to the completeness of sleep and dreams. Great job.

You do have the voice of clarity and the soft soprano of an angel. Mother's proud of you.
