Down the street
I hear the roar of race cars
The time has come again
Cotton candy
Popcorn
Little donuts
Hot dogs
Each booth I pass
smells better than the last
Crowds of people
walking together
Looking so happy, so excited
Coming to the Midway
I walk through magic, neon gates
People laughing, screaming
trying out the latest rides
The blaring music
I love it loud
The yelling of carnies
calling us in
at the great, state fair.
