By His Grace, forgiveness is available to all who seek it

I’ve met murderers, more than most

Some are tortured by the ghost

That visits them most every night

Sweating, they awake in fright

Held forever in their cell

‘Till at last, they hear the reaper’s bell

Their tormented soul at last, at rest

But sadly failed their final test

He whose conscience won’t let forget

The wicked sins his hand beset

Could free his soul, if not his flesh

By being caught in the Fisherman’s mesh

And all he ever had to do

Was forgive himself, and follow through

The guiding light that shines for all

And sin by sin, remove the wall

That keeps him from his Holy Grace

Until he finally takes his place

And then without the fleshly force

He beholds his heart and sees remorse

Then by Grace, accepted into the fold

‘Come my child, come in from the cold’

My, my, this writing's soul lives very much in you, and for you. I see this one as having a life of its own, David. It is very eloquent, but the raw story still survives the eloquence; it reads very well, but maintains the true nature of the events. If I were to speak of good balance, in a writing, for me, this would be a wonderful example. Thanks for sharing your real-life views, David. Very nice expression in this writing.

Visions of A Skylark Dressed in Black by Aberjhani

“The woman or man who is a poet, or fiction writer, or playwright, or all of these, is engaged constantly in a jazz ballet of vocabularies, passions, genders, histories, perspectives, death, love, and life. The music of revelation announces itself to

In the Whirlwind by Tichaona Chinyelu

In the Whirlwind is a poetic storm that frees history from the cages of corruption and puts it in the hands of everyday people. Words are weaved into a new fashion statement that has nothing to do with runways but everything to do with projects!
