Here, we wear pajamas.
Everyday is Christmas morn.
We soak in Bill's love and that of his family.
He loves us beyond compare.
He loves us when we are cranky, frightened, afraid, cantankerous.
His love never stops.
It never ends.
He gives us a glimpse of how much God must love his children.
He is what we dreamed of and wanted returned to us.
We missed that guy.
He never came back, but then there was Bill.
We all have pajamas now and as soon as we get home from work or school, we wear them.
There are pajamas that are flannel, plaids, fuzzy, polar fleece, with Batman on them and stripes and monkeys and Spongebob and we wear them all.
We sit. And veg. And chill. And laugh and sing and play.
We are happy and safe and warm,
and I,
am thankful!
