I suppose that someday, sometime, in the glorious too distant future, man and woman will come together with the mental attitude of respect and undying, unselfish love for one another. I say that I suppose, but my instinct tells me that day will never come for the vast majority of the human population because, for the most part, when we embark on a love affair we are in it for our own selfish reasons. That said, then the result of both lovers selfish interest is what usually kills the deal. Good poem.

We are never too old to learn. I just hate the pain that sometimes come with the lessons. I like this write. I like these lines...
(I have been lulled into submission
I have been bullied into oppression
Soiled hands carrassing
innocent flesh unable to
penetrate strong spirits.)
