As instructor and administrator, I too was bound by law to someones best-practices protocol. I jumped ship in 2001, not because of the changes, but because this old dog was not being able to keep up with that many new tricks. Good poem. M.True

Cheer up, Lark. Obamacare will end all that. Well, some of it. He's counting on enough savings via standardization and sharing of innovation to fund our first colony on the moon. I think that's summarized on page 2,012 of the AFA.

Do I sense a strong case of cynicism? You bet I do. I understand fully. I tired of writing proposals for funding because everything seemed to have to meet all the �rules� that both ethical people would do without having to have �training� to do.

I really hate HIPPA because I would like to see everyone's medical records totally available. Oh, I can see where some diabolical bastards could use my ailments to bilk me for money or bring down some powerful person once his or her �secret� ailment was discovered� boring.

Now that we have conveniently separated the elderly from their families in our new way of living, it is necessary to protect the elderly from their caregivers. So far I haven't turned my caregivers in, although I have fired a couple.

I feel your pain� I really do. Thanks for sharing it with us.

I have no idea what the acronyms mean, but I am here to say I had to turn my world upside down in order to be here today. And I am here today and feeling quite well, thanks to what I call miracle drugs. We have, I believe, the best healthcare in the world, but it is about to be trampled on unless those who oppose it can figure out how to stop it.
