An unexpected privilege

Poem Artwork

There you sit, making me smile
Don’t you know you are out of place?
Sleeping so peacefully despite my presence,
I want to reach out and touch you
But you must not be disturbed.
I want you to know when you leave at the dusk
You made me happy and thrilled me today.

Hearing about your experience makes me smile, too.

I remember as a child seeing barn owls in the huge "Roundhouse" at a big factory where they worked on trains. They are so cool and thrilling to see.

Love ya!

Omega Factor by John Henning
