Wait, my love, for me Do not from me, flee My heart will break If you do not take Just a moment to see What you mean to me Of how you delight And joyously excite This lovelorn girl Who thinks the world Of you, only you Don’t leave me blue I’ll love you always We’ll find more ways To express this feeling I’m right here kneeling Fighting for the gift of love It’s you only, I have need of I’m Pouring out my heart Don’t pull our love part Upon morning’s dawning grace Stay here in my embrace *~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~*
