My writer's block is cured by a beautiful friend and mentor, Joy Hale, and she is indeed a Joy in spite of many debilitating ailments that keep her away from her many friends on AD. She suggested that I write about my wonderful marriage to my childhood sweetheart, Jodie. That was the key that opened my door!
I've thought about your plan
I've mulled it o'er and o'er
I think it is so grand
I will not worry more
Then, the words will fly,
I will not stop to rest
I only have to try
And I will pass the test
I'll owe it all to Joy
She opened up the door
Her thoughts I will employ
And write forever more
My Jodie does embrace
my every waking thought.
I will have won the race
The doubt has been for naught.
