Settles to parade her hues

and almond studded sapphire blues
Russet basque with epaulettes
Pewter edged, in fragile frame
but do you know her, have you met?
she has the most beguiling name
Reflecting Nature's artistry
...in richly woven coloured smock
A favoured few can share the plume
...of glorious, mighty, Miss Peacock

Lately I've been watching our resident beauties. The giant swallowtail and the black swallowtail. Perhaps I need to write a poem about them. But I doubt if I could do as well as you have.
