Time is such a fickle thing,
A year, a month, a day.
It flies on wing through happiness,
In sorrow, crawls it’s way.
Seasons pass and changes come
Throughout each year we live.
When winter’s cold and sorrow end,
Spring’s warmth brings love to give.
So take each season’s silver lining,
It’s dark clouds give no heed,
And time will be a lasting friend
To you in time of need.
If your heart is blessed with love
For someone far or near,
rejoice for this is God’s spring gift,
To warm you thru the year.
