Just a line to let you know,

how much you mean to me.

A little game, a heartfelt poem,

is often all I need.

A gentle reminder now and then,

I know comes from within,

to keep a smile upon my face

and watch each day begin.

For with that brilliant sunrise

that sets the sky aflame,

I'll greet the morn with newfound hope,

and meet it with acclaim.

For I have got a friend somewhere,

so real and warm and sweet.

Somewhere out there is all I know,

there's little chance we'll meet.

But I know a lot about her,

her warm intriguing ways.

She's truly an inspiration

on dark and trying days.

I've learned from her to cherish

each and every day,

and make the best of every hour that

HE has sent my way.

So thank you dearest Jeannie,

for being that one so true .

May your days be filled with joy.
