visions of August 9 2013

Poem Artwork

The moon has completed its full cycle
of bright to dark tide altering phases.
As I inhabit this soft supple beach
of crashing and retreating varied waves.
My eyes entranced in her aqua brilliance
sending sunamic pulses throughout me.
I hold onto these inviting petals
of sensual aromatic fragrance.
In hues matching the seas finest colors
such is this tender delicate flower.

You've captured the beauty of this bloom.
I can almost smell it's fragrance.
Here in Pittsburgh we have a flower conservatory.
There is one large display area dedicated only to orchids
Walking through there is like reading your poem!
Great description!!!!

The seashore can provide much beauty. On the other hand, as I crossed the dunes to pee, I spied long lines with beautiful flowers to admire. I couldn't stay to admire them though, because mosquitoes with hypothermic needles kept me on the move.
