Hands shaking,
Sweat dripping,
She looks at the door,
Too terrified to move,
Or utter a word,
Or swallow her own saliva,
As her throat is dry,
And seconds pass,
Like ages of time,
Endless,
In the vast sea,
As beads of puddle form,
On the white marble floor,
And her heart thumps,
She tries to calm down,
And reach for her pills,
Repeating to herself,
"Calm down,it's ok"
As relief swamps her body,
With chemical interaction,
And dizziness takes over,
As she slumps down,
For a short life-saving nap,
A cure to panic-attack.
