I read a few pages,
A chapter at the very most,
Then I do to asleep, fall,
Past the many pages, past what I’ve read do I crawl…
The book lies open & pages flitter on my lap,
Most times I only get a short cat nap,
But dreams do persist of what I’ve read,
Of times & experiences that others have lead…
Eventually though I awaken again with fervor,
My book lying next to me waiting for me to again become its observer,
Again, I read some more, and of course, do fall asleep pretty fast,
Back into the dreaming of wht this particular book has through my mind, past.
