'Not sure where we will go from here but I have lost hope for the world King envisioned'.
Alicia Norman.

'Hope'

In the eye of the storm,
Sweeping over our lives
We fight for hope,
To exist

When dreams are dying,
On the streets of despair
How can we resist,
The quiet surrender

When hearts are broken,
As the wheels turn
To break our spirit,
And silence us forever

We fight the fire at our doors,
We refuse to lie down
We paint our dreams,
In vivid reflections of us

We will remember,
The will to imagine
To see and believe,
That all things are possible

When every wave breaks,
On the shores of humanity
We will welcome its power,
And embrace the transformation

To renew our spirit,
We will frame and imagine a greater horizon
We will find our hope,
And see those dreams that never died

Let us hope that our future will bring us more dreams and less despair. Much of this poem is on a really dark side that generally doesn't exist for those who die.

Nicely done. In particular, I really liked the lines, "We paint our dreams in vivid reflections of us." There is much truth in that, as well as the whole poem.

In the Whirlwind by Tichaona Chinyelu

In the Whirlwind is a poetic storm that frees history from the cages of corruption and puts it in the hands of everyday people. Words are weaved into a new fashion statement that has nothing to do with runways but everything to do with projects!

Sunrise of Thought by Bruce Humphrey

Welcome! The poems in this beautifully bound book are a result of over twenty years of observations. Observations of the world around us and on the telecommunications network. All of the hate, love, heroism, disasters, and those who help. Beautif
