Just a fun little piece for those of us who don't have a Valentine.
Happy V-Day
Valentine's Day, a manufactures dream A day where women are given chocolates and treated out to eat Then after so much time has passed they ask... Do these pants make my butt look big? Are you listening to me? Tons of hard earned money spent on jewelry, flowers, and the like Because you couldn't do this for your sweetheart any other day My goodness, that would cause you to die But what about the other things we could celebrate Like Veterinarians, vegetarians, Vegemite sandwiches, and an exciting Victory Or how about Vagina Day? You know those things take a beating Or how about those V-neck t-shirts and sweaters Or Variable numbers Or Vitamins Or Variations, Valuables, Vibrant looks, Vital signs, and Violins Vacations, Vacuums, Value, and heart Valves Veils, and velvet, Ventriloquists, and Valium Violets, Video games, and a pretty View V is such an ignored letter, but I think it will do Vipers, Virgins, Vocabulary, Visitors, and Vodka You have a Voice, use it Volleyball, Voltage, Volunteers, and Vowels You can enjoy this letter Someway somehow But watch not to be Vulgar or a Vulture, please And don't do any Voodoo unless you Vow to use it properly See my Very helpful guide Will help you surVive this day Just a few last words and then this piece will end Words like: Virgo, Virtue, Videotape, Vibrator, Vibrato, and Vertebrae Enjoy your day, my friends May it be Valid, with a hint of Vanilla, don't get bit by a Vampire, make out in a Vehicle, and let your best Verse be written!
If "V" is for Valentine's Day, you've got the Vs covered! What a lovely, cheerful, creative and funny Valentine's Day poem. I would like to see that Vagina Day, if I could come along. ;-)
