Our Love

And he leaves me stranded/branded wanting more

I can’t breathe without him taking me in

The scent of our lovemaking fills the open space around us

As the candlelight makes for a peaceful scene

Our clothes are scattered along the floor

As the past week has been draped over a tired bed post

In the wake of his absence I rise/naked still and glance in the mirror on my dresser

My cheeks are a flowery pink

My hazel eyes look like they have burst to life

My lips are swollen

And my hair is a mess

I feel so sated/so marvelous

And here he comes again

His member salutes me

My body aches for him to be in me again

To feel his warmth/his love come to life in me

To gaze into his brilliant eyes and feel the longing he has been holding in

Even to be apart for several minutes is too long

Let us explore each other again as if for the first time

May this night last into the morning and carry on forever
