Moment With God This moment I spend with God Watching one of his creatures go The great beaver in the water In the calm evening when it is so peaceful It's as if time stood still As I watched his every move And when he would splash with a thump in the water I felt like a child enjoying her youth What wonderful creatures we have here In the good old Pennsylvania we share Be sure to get out while the weather is nice And explore and embrace God as He's everywhere By, Tiffany Simar 5/15/17

I am so glad that the beaver and elk have returned to Pennsylvania. While we admire the early settlers for their perseverance, survival in the wilderness and faith, they hunted and trapped many Eastern species like the wood bison and Eastern elk to extinction.

We must never let that happen again for man's preference over nature's abundance.
