The Cat

A short poem about my cat Zoe whose mood goes from playful to lazy very quickly.

The bored look on her face says it all,

She isn't in the mood for chasing a ball.

Love and attention is all that she seeks,

Shall she play rough?

Or sleep all through the week?

Shall she play rough or sleep for a week?
Now this depends on what cat you have sat where you're at. If its a tiger, I'd let it sleep! Or else it could be you she eats! And we don't want that! Yet if she's small, let her play ball..
Cute wee poem. Could be in Elliot's book! Or the book of Zoe and her pet, Evangeline! :)

Zoe sounds like a typical cat. One way to get her complete attention would be to provide her with some catnip or even a live mouse or bird. You would be surprised to find out that she would no longer get bored and fall asleep.
