Selena the cat

Selena approached me for affection, I pet her shorthaired back, Kitty rubbed her head on my hand, She purred. I continued to pet my shorthaired cat. She looked at me with emerald eyes As if to say, "How dare you!" My cat bit me. Hard. She has a mouthful of little needles. I had red puncture marks on my hand. I love that cat.

They're just like people sometimes, they get moody but you forgive them for their actions. :-) Nice poem.
