Another poem from my 12th grade writing journal.......
All the pain,
All the tears,
they’re vanishing now.
I’ve found peace at last.
You can’t hold me anymore.
You say I’m killing you,
Look at what you have done to me.
You never gave me a chance to live.
All I’ve ever wanted, you kept out of my reach.
I’d try to grasp it,
but then you would tug on my leash.
Love me! Love me! You would say.
I can not love someone when I am a slave to their heart.
To love is a choice.
You should have let me be free.
Now, I’m running,
running away,
and I’ll never turn back!
Each person is but a grain of sand resting beside the sea. This thought sets the tone for Jill Eisnaugle’s latest poetry collection, Beside Still Waters.
Perhaps "..Quiet Storm" will help rekindle old flames buried and long forgotten or express the love so deeply locked inside of your soul longing to be released.
Regardless of where you may be found in love this beautiful masterpiece can be
Trixie :)
