Dancer On A Pole

Dancer on a pole

You swing and sway to the beat of man’s heart

Sweat of your skin glistening like diamonds

For fifteen minutes you are a superstar

Never minding the indignity of your moves

You shake and molest your mountains of silicone

Drawing careful attention to your manufactured body

Your house of sin

You writhe and slither

With sharp precision

Like a snake

You lead the weak to their doom

To burn in hell among their lustful thoughts

Pulling them away from the good women waiting for them

Away from wholesomeness

And into perversion

You own the room

With your hair of liquid gold

Body of fire

And heart of stone.

You disgusting, vulgar piece of trash

You have no shame at all

Dancer on a pole...

I envy you

Great ending.....Though I don't envy them.....rather pity them.

Looks fade.....and that trash stamp doesn't looks so good on an ageing body.

Excellent write! ty, Dani

I believe there is a part of many that although they'de never admit it, would love to be able to do what those ladies do, maybe not for another woman's man, but for their own. I wasn't in the least shocked at your ending, but I was agreeable. Great write Crystal. Lisa

One of my friends was a pole dancer, and you couldn't meet a nicer lady, but the ending here had me cracking up, I concur with Larry. Great stuff..

"I envy you," quite an ending, with compassion too. From what I've read, many of those those dancers are single moms abandoned by their spouses, trying to make ends meet for their kids.
