In Complete Darkness

If the world were in complete darkness, how would we tell one another apart?
We couldn’t distinguish one another from race or by color of the skin, only
by our hearts.
In the darkness our skin would all feel the same, even between a woman and
a man, their true hearts could only proclaim.
We are all God’s children, and he loves a wondrous variety, for variety is
the spice of life and that’s why he created both you and me.
So we’re a little different, each one of us unique don’t you see, that’s
what’s makes us all so very special, so let’s love and live in harmony.
Because in complete darkness there would be no difference between you
and me, in complete darkness where only our hearts not our eyes could see . . .
In complete darkness.

The Voice has blind auditions. That is very interesting because often the judges find that the person singing the song looks nothing like what they imagine listening to them singing. In a way, Internet dating can be blind. Perhaps I should start a dating website where all of the prospective daters must not put a picture of themselves up, but only a picture of who they would like to look like. The results of dating like this would be interesting… Or is it already happening?
